At christening and other events, we usually serve Haitian Patties, Pate Ayisien, not pate kode. Do you have a favorite recipe for Haitian patties? Here is a quick recipe to make your own Haitian patties.

I know you need the following to make Haitian patties.

Flour – Farine

Baking power – Bitabonak

Vegetable shortening – gres vejetab

Water – Dlo

Eggs – ze

Salt – sel

What do you think? Again, pa confuse bon ti pate fin, byen gou avek gwo bout pate kode ke nou tout konnen zanmi nou te konn ap vann Orlando.

Lakay gen 2 kalite paté, youn nou te konn rele paté panye ( sak rafine a ke nou te konn manje ak fresko) avek pate korde sa zanmi nou Fadou te konn vann lan 😀 🤣. Bor lakay mwen te gon machann ki te konn vann plizyer kalite pate, pate a zé, pate aransor, pate vyann moulen, pate oldog ( hotdog) pate poul. Depandan de gou w ak lajan ki nan poch ou li ka fer on pate konbinezon pou ou tou ( pate ze/oldog, pate ze ak aransor etc...) Tout pate sa yo te toujou gen menm basic engredyan: farine, dlo, bikabonak, chou  rache ak zonyon, ak lwil.

Pate prefere m kik se konbinezon ou pa fok li toujou gen ze ladann.

"Ayiti cheri, pi bon peyi pase ou nanpwen.
Fòk mwen te kite w pou mwen te kap Konprann valè w,
Fòk mwen te manke w pou m te kap apresye w,
Pou m santi vreman tout sa ou te ye pou mwen." 😭 😢 😭
